The last season (I think this is still technically one season along with the episodes aired last year, but w/e) ended with a real shocker. I had really hoped the little girl was still alive.

QUOTE (Last Spartan @ Feb 11 2012, 02:59 PM)
The last season (I think this is still technically one season along with the episodes aired last year, but w/e) ended with a real shocker. I had really hoped the little girl was still alive.

IMDb as well as AMC are touting it as Season 2.... I found last years season of 6 episodes rather odd myself. Never before has a show started like this one did with a mini season of 6 episodes and actually came back. (I could be wrong on this point though, but I can't remember any...)

You and me both Spartan!! I was so hoping they would find her alive, they kept finding small clues that pointed to just that, or seemed to. Poor Carol and Daryl. Not to mention Rick, he already felt responsible, even though he had no other choice but to leave her there.

I had actually thought, up until a week or so ago that that was the end of the season. I went to IMDb to check on when Season 3 was going to start only to see that it was picking back up with another 6 episodes. I was so thrilled because they had left so many things unresolved, like:

1. Lori's pregnancy. Is it Ricks or Shane's?
2. Will Glenn and Maggie become an item?
3. Will Andre and Shane become an item?
4. Will they find out Shane killed Otis? (I think Dale is already aware of this)
5. Will Shane get rid of Dale like he did Otis?
6. What will Hershel do now that they have killed all in the barn?
7. What will Patricia do when she finds out Shane killed Otis?????????

Those are just a few, I'm sure there are more tongue.gif

Dammit, I'd written up a post with answers to all those questions, then the site crapped out upon submission of that post and I lost all of it! http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm97/SpartanWarrior198/Resident%20Evil%20Final%20Days/bicz.gif But, oh well, it's airing now, so whatever.

I will say, though, that seeing Sophia stumble out of the barn as a walker is probably the most heart-breaking moment in the series yet.

Bummer! I have to agree with ya there, I'd have been much happier say someone like maybe..... Shane were to bite the dust. Most likely it was done that way as it will push Daryl and Carol closer together, as if they need pushing..... they been makin goo goo eyes at each other the whole season just about tongue.gif

It's been hinted that Shane was infected with the walker virus ever since he returned from getting medical supplies for Carl. This is making me wonder if maybe their immune systems are fighting it?

Hmmm.... interesting... I'm 2 episodes behind, will be 3 episodes behind after tonight's show.... Got them on my laptop to watch... just got to do it... http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm97/SpartanWarrior198/Resident%20Evil%20Final%20Days/rofl.gif (I got bit by the Lost bug... spent the last couple weeks watching the whole series.... )

That would be kind of hard to tell, they've not really gone into what exactly did happen to start the epidemic. We really know very little about that. That would be an interesting take on it though... there generally isn't any "fighting" when it comes to getting zombiefied. You get bet, you are history.

But I say let that little weasel turn zombiefied! I don't like Shane, never have. I prefer the storyline of the comics much better in regards to ole Shane!!

Then I'll hold off on discussion until you catch up. Suffice to say, tonight's season finale left me very eager for season 3. smile.gif

OMG!!!!! Just got caught up! Was soooooo glad to see Shane finally get what he deserved. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm97/SpartanWarrior198/Resident%20Evil%20Final%20Days/chair.gif http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm97/SpartanWarrior198/Resident%20Evil%20Final%20Days/chair.gif http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm97/SpartanWarrior198/Resident%20Evil%20Final%20Days/chair.gif

Well going by what Rick said the CDC guy said it's a virus and no matter what all are infected it sounds like and that it really don't matter if they get bit or not, if they die they gonna go all zombiefied on folks. Which is kind of a new twist on the whole zombie thing. I don't think they've done one like that where it really doesn't matter. Usually if one survives the initial outbreak, you're good to go unless bit. This kind of leaves ya screwed no matter what......

Was so mad they killed Dale though.... Should have been that daggone Andrea... can't stand her. But was glad to see Hershel and Carol saved... they had me worried there for a minute.. I'd have been really ticked had they bought the farm also.

I'm gonna go ahead and change this into a centralized "official" topic for everything TWD, television and comic alike. And to start things off, we have the first trailer for season 3 coming this October!

I'm very interested in learning more about this "Governor" character. The trailer showed him to be a real bad ass, and from what Risky has told me, he makes life pretty difficult for the group.

Shane had been beginning to break down for a while now. It was only a matter of time before he and Rick got into it.
