You know, it seems like every Final Fantasy game released to date has had absolutely zilch to do with the one before it with totally new characters, settings, and plot lines, yet no one whines about "non-canon events" in those games. Maybe some people could learn something from that example and just accept the fact that the Anderson movies are a different universe from the games.

Metal, yes, the second is the one that really took actual RE events and twisted and manipulated them into their own little thing, i.e. having Alice do Claire's trademark gun drop scene.

But, as Spartan said, once you get over the fact that the games are in a completely different universe, and you realize they have no bearing on the games whatsoever, you can then enjoy them for what they are, good movies made by a cool and creative director.

Afterlife was definitely the weakest of the live-action franchise, that's for sure.

You have no idea how much of an understatement that is, lol tongue.gif

I just got done watching it...good lord. The only time's I really enjoyed it was when Alice met up with Claire and up to the point right before they started fighting Wesker. After the three of them met up with him and started facing off....my mood dropped dramatically =/

Afterlife is way less than $3, hell it's not even worth the energy it takes to pick it up or the time it takes to watch it.

Poor Spartan, you were ripped. sad.gif We should start plotting revenge. biggrin.gif
