I just seen the trailer.

It looks like it's going to be the best one yet. I love how the major characters are making an grand entrance mixed in with the recent Resident Evil game elements like from RE4 and 5.

Comments?

The major thing I'm disappointed with is that Sienna Guillory doesn't seem to be reprising as Jill Valentine because I really liked her in the part and the movie's take on Jill.

Aside from that, I'm looking forward to this one.

I like the movies but, they always kinda bothered me. I would rather them be canon like degeneration was.

Whether they're canon or not doesn't really matter to me. I just don't want a carbon copy of one of the games in movie form, though. Seriously, if I want to experience the mansion incident or Leon and Claire's RPD adventure again, I'll just play the games again.

I definitely agree on Jill. The other actor was VERY suited for her. =/

Well, it would seem I spoke too soon: IMDB lists Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine. cool.gif

According to the novelization of Extinction, she broke off from Alice's group and took command of another convoy in Detroit.

I must say, she was pretty damn cool in apocalypse. Her whole attitude towards everything just made her likeable.

I liked her as Jill, though I found her smoking and crass attitude to be quite contrary to the game Jill's sweet and caring nature... I must admit, though, Sienna looked really, really delicious in a tube top!

I disliked how they nerfed Jill and made her look like crap just to make Alice look good.

They did the same thing to Claire, nerfing her to keep the focus solely on Alice. It's like they shouldn't even be there at all, their appearances were almost pointless.

This latest movie looks like it's going to be doing the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if Alice takes out Wesker with one well-placed Kung Fu wall kick.

Jill’s resurfacing in Afterlife has been all over the internet for several weeks now--her infamous blurry photo even making a cameo on the RE Wiki. They’ve opted to go the RE5 route with her character.

Sienna’s such an obnoxious loud-mouth, but she does play a decent and hard-hitting Jill.

Speaking of that, should celebrities be allowed to have Twitter accounts? Because then we wind up with Sienna's completely immature and vaguely racist babble. Seriously, what was with the whole ragging on fans and fansites? I mean, is she really that dumb?

... She DOES look pretty damn good with short hair and a tube top, though.

But my point still stands!

Sorry that your Freudian excuse is getting the better of you! tongue.gif

RE has a LOT of girls sporting the short hair look... Not as of late, though, which is pretty annoying.
